Teddy Afro to Perform the coming Sunday in Bahir Dar

Singer and song writer Tewdros Kassahun (Teddy Afro), whose recently released album titled “Ethiopia” became on the top chart on Billboard will perform in the city of Bahir Dar the day after Ethiopian Epiphany at Bahir Dar Stadium.

This will the singer first official concert since the release of his recent and 5th album. According to Teddy Afro manager Getachew Mangudai, the city of Bahir Dar administrative office gives them green light without any bureaucratic hassle.

The Amhara regional government spokesman, Ato Tadele Tilahun, on his part said that the concert is recognized by the city of Bahir Dar administrative office and the Amhara regional state. Since the song is all about peace, love, unity, co-operation and Ethiopianism, Amhara regional state accepted his request with great gratitude.

The concert  will be held at the Bahir Dar Stadium, which has a capacity to hold over 80 thousand people.  According to Getachew, the city of Bahir Dar expect influx of people on that day coming from all over the country.
