The Government of South Sudan Strongly Denounced Clooney and his out right lie

For decades shiny objects like Clooney have acted as foreground shills for more powerful people, propagandizing the American public in order to start wars in our name and with our troops harming untold millions of people around the world. We are responsible for what is done in our name, it’s on us to get educated, wake up and pay attention.

by Tiffany FitzHenery

The government of South Sudan came out in a statement denouncing George Clooney and the recent report written by his NGO The Sentry on the alleged corruption of the South Sudanese government.

South Sudan gained independence in 2011, the fledgeling country is rich in oil, gold, minerals and metals.

The report alleges that the current government, under President Salva Kiir, is corrupt.

On Friday, South Sudan’s Information minister, Michael Makuei said Clooney’s report is a “concoction” intentionally crafted to target the president’s family.

The information minister went on to doubt the authenticity of the report, alleging that the authors (i.e. Clooney and his NGO The Sentry) were being paid to tarnish the image of the current president.

“This is coordinated thing,” said Makuei.

“These people are usually paid to do what they want,” he further stressed.

Clooney has been very visibly involved in Darfur, Sudan and South Sudan over the last several years.

Clooney spoke to CNN this week about why the current government of South Sudan is in need of being sanctioned, and has also called for regime change, in what sounds an awful lot like the familiar globalist CIA talking points we’ve heard for decades.

Interestingly, CNN is the only network he spoke to regarding the new report his NGO crafted. The 64 page report, prepared by Clooney and his NGO The Sentry, is called The Taking of South Sudan.

Now, the government of South Sudan has come out to publicly denounce Clooney and his report.

“South Sudan government has dismissed the recent report from The Sentry, which claimed President Salva Kiir and his family own stakes in banks, foreign exchange bureaus, airlines, oil companies, logistics firms, private security companies among others.”

I spoke with a linguist and anthropologist who has spent the last three decades working with the people of Sudan, who shared with me some of the sentiments of the Sudanese people.

“The NGOs come in, register with the country, say they’re doing x, and they’re really there doing something else.”

She went on to tell me, “I was contacted by Debra LaPrevotte, who works for Clooney and The Sentry. She was digging and trying to find any dirt she could on Salva Kiir and his family. That was her only objective.”

One high level South Sudanese diplomat told me, “the report is rubbish.”

Clooney started Not on Our Watch with Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle and others.

Not On Our Watch Project provided seed money to launch the Satellite Sentinel Project, The Sentry, which was conceived by Clooney and Enough Project co-founder John Prendergast.

The Enough Project, together with Not On Our Watch, “work to pressure policymakers by urging the public to act.”

So, they push for intervention. Which is just what Clooney and Prendergast are out doing right now, saying, “Americans have to act!”

It should be noted that Google collaborates to design the web platform on which The Sentry’s spy satellites run.

For decades shiny objects like Clooney have acted as foreground shills for more powerful people, propagandizing the American public in order to start wars in our name and with our troops harming untold millions of people around the world. We are responsible for what is done in our name, it’s on us to get educated, wake up and pay attention.

Knowing who Clooney is and who he works for, this appears to be a classic case of accusing your opponent of what you yourself are doing. The tired, worn out tactic we’ve seen all too often, especially in politics.

I will keep you posted as this story develops.
